Empowering Communities to Thrive From Within

Fremtidens Obulamu partners with vulnerable communities to strengthen health, build skills, and create opportunities that lead to dignity, resilience, and self-reliance.

Preventive Health & Outreach

We provide basic medical care and health education in communities.

Life Skills & Livelihoods

Equip youth and families with practical skills for sustainable livelihoods.

Community Awareness & Inclusion

Raise awareness and encourage equal participation across local communities.

Fremtidens Obulamu began with a meeting between an Iraqi-Dane and a Ugandan both shaped by the same realization, from different sides of the world. One came from a healthcare system where treatment is a structured process. The other came from years of working inside a system where access itself is the challenge.

What We Do

Fremtidens Obulamu provides free, community-based primary healthcare in Ugandan villages, including:

  • Vaccinations
  • Essential medicine
  • Medical check-ups
  • Follow-ups

Our work is locally led and guided by Ugandan healthcare professionals, ensuring dignity, relevance, and long-term impact. International support is always provided in respect of the needs defined by Ugandan professionals.

How We Work

Fremtidens Obulamu is Ugandan-led.

All priorities are defined locally, and international volunteers support,  never replace Ugandan healthcare professionals. We work with respect, cultural understanding, and long-term sustainability at the center of everything we do.

Our Vision

A Uganda where access to free healthcare is a right, not a privilege

Our Mission

To establish and operate locally led healthcare bases that provide free basic medical care including vaccinations, medicine, and check-ups in Ugandan villages, while mobilizing medical professionals from Uganda and around the world to strengthen access to sustainable healthcare by 2030.
